Electricity has long been a tradable asset in Europe. Deutsche Börse launched its own prototype system.
The prototype initially needed performance and stability improvements to support long-term operations. Once a resilient system was delivered, we were entrusted with leading and evolving the platform.

Development
With Deutsche Börse’s M7 trading platform, we developed a high-availability system built to handle the demands of a 24/7 high-load environment.
Leveraging the latest technology, the system enables cross-border real-time electricity trading. Alongside performance, transactional integrity is key—ensuring that physical power flows can be verified across networks.
All information—from live offers to direct deals and private trades—is transmitted via message brokers.
